Leopard geckos get lavender when their spots start to disappear right? Well I have some 2 1/2- 3/12 Month old Jungles and Striped geckos that I produced myself that still have a lot of the lavender. some of them don't keep the lavender and loose it in the first month or two, but these guys/girls still have the same as what they started out with. I have had this line of jungles and stripes for almost 2 1/2 seasons, in the time I have been perfecting the stripe from almost nothing to something "reasonable". I will post some pics of siblings with out any lavender and some of the "older" ones with the lavender hopefully tonight:main_thumbsup: .

ok here they are. I had extremely bad lighting so the pictures look ugly, yellow. The ages on them are 2 1/2 months old-almost 4 months(the last two).
I am not sure they will keep it, but so far they still have a bit of it.

It can take about 2 years to get the full expression of some morphs from the parents, just keep track and you'll see how predictable it will be. I find lavender is highly varied by gecko bloodline. I have some that keep it predictably, some do not.

I have one gecko that still got a bit of the lavender among his spots, he is now over 6 years old. I like the lavender! :)
