how long can you have a gecko out of the tank without it being a problem? thanks in advance........Shaun

Are you cleaning the tank,or doing something else?I clean my tank and he stays out for about 10 minutes,so maybe that's how long.If he is out of the tank,the room can't be super cold.

Thanks for the replays. I was wondering because I will be taking it to the vet probably someday for just a checkup and stuff and wanted to know thats about 20-30 mins from here.........Shaun

meh i took mine home from pet stome in the winter in a cup and it said they shouldent stayinside the cup for more than 2 hours...

The breeder was 45 minutes away from me and I brought my adult gecko home from there and she did fine. I also took her back for a while (she is coming home soon) and she did fine on the ride there.
