How many eggs did your gecko lay her first season?

I am planning on breeding my girls this year once they reach an appropriate age and weight. I was just wondering how many eggs everyone's geckos had their maiden season? I know age plays a role, so please state an age if other than about a year old. I have read different amounts ranging anywhere from 1-12, so just wondering if I can figure out an average. [emoji3]

It's a crap-shoot. I've had 1 year old leos lay 3 eggs and other 1 year olds lay 20 eggs (all of which hatched).

Wow !I hope for their sake they don't lay 20! That would be awful hard on their little bodies!

Both of my girls are too young too breed. One is about 6 months and the other 5 months. Currently, they are fat and happy and growing well. I would never breed them if they weren't old or healthy enough. I wouldn't want to risk their lives.

I am just trying to educate myself as much as I can now so I can be prepared when the time comes. I was thinking like 6-12 eggs for each girl as an average? I know it could be more or less, and not all may be fertile but does that seem reasonable?

Lowest I've had was 6 (two were infertile) and highest I've had was 24.

If they are a good weight and kept individually I would expect around 8-12 from each of them and would prepare for 12 since the number may be higher or lower from each. That's about the average I get out of my gals.

You can, of course, choose not to incubate all the eggs and only hatch those you're prepared to care for.

Last season I had 3 girls that were bred, they produced between 6 - 13 eggs each. There were a couple infertile, and 1 baby didn't develop properly and died before hatching. Total of 24 healthy babies from 3 girls, so it can add up fast!

We only had one pair last year but the female laid 4 eggs in total, all hatched.

I had 4 female and 1 male and i have 2 eggs. But im waiting other news
