How many geckos to this size cage?

Hi all,

At the moment I only have one female leo, but I'm looking to purchase at least one more. After quarantine I intend on housing them together. I already have a suitable home, a tank measuring 4ft x 1ft x 1.5ft, (base x depth x height). That will be plenty of room for two females. But how many geckos can I actually fit comfortably in there? Would three females live in there happily?

I'm not positive about the measurements, but I do know that you can base it by 10 gallons per gecko. So, if it's 40 gallon (I have no idea lol) it should fit up to 4.

As long as there is enough hides and no aggressive females I think 4 would be perfectly fine.

I would go with one male and three females in there to set up a good breeding group. Just make sure to provide plenty of hiding areas so the geckos dont get stressed.
