how many mealworms daily for a 5 month old if not being left in tank 24/7

So many conlficting posts... can anyone please give their input: how many mealworms, if on a mealworm staple diet, do I feed every night, if I am not leaving in a dish 24/7 (I tried that and they were regurgitating every day- obviously didnt get the memo that if you eat too much you regurgitate). Thank you. I give them a couple of crickets weekly.

It varies with the gecko, so experiment. Put in 10 and see if they all get eaten. If so, go up to 15, if not go down to 7, etc.
