how many time do u put the male with the female??

Hi there,
This is my 1st season breeding and this might be a stupid question but i 'am a novice so i put my male with 2 females(housed separately), they layed a clutch each which deflated.
1. Do i have to put the male back in to impregnate them again or do the females have multiple clutches off 1 fornication???
2. Is it normal for the 1st timers to have infertile eggs from the 1st clutch???

usually the females have a sperm-reserve, but it's okay to put in the male for a few days again.
first time females sometimes lay infertile eggs
