How much are my geckos worth?

I'm kinda courious to how much my gecko's are worth just incase I needed or wanted to sell the in the future. Is there any breeders that could comment? also, what are the chances that Rocco is a giant or super giant?

Mimzy info
Female Giant Jungle Albino Het Reverse Stripe
100 Grams and still gaining weight each month
Between 9 1/2 - 9 3/4 long
Age 1yr 1 month

Rocco info
Male but morph not known(possible giant or super giant due to size)
137 Grams and finally leveled out
Right at the 10 inch mark
Age 3yrs

I'd say Rocco is a tangerine. He might be a giant or even super giant but you would have to prove him out to see. He could just be a big male. I have some "normal" males that are 100grams. Mimzy is probably worth $100-$120. She is pretty nice. Rocco if he is a giant would be worth $60. Super Giant $80-$100. Hope this helped.:main_yes:

But Rocco has absolutely no tangerine color at all. Why do you say/think he is? also I have never seen super giants as low as $80-$100. I'm just courious to how you got your answer

I don't plan on breeding Rocco so I guess I will never know for sure but what are the odds that a normal male can get 137 grams and 10 inches ? I have seen few non giants getting around 100-110 grams but never 137..lol...

The reason I call Rocco a tangerine is because of his orange color in some of the pictures outdoors. Maybe he has faded some.:main_huh: He is not a hypo (reduced spotting) or carrot tail. Just a low end tangerine. Tangerine in a gecko is something that can be a matter of opinion in people. And yes a super giant normal who is het for nothing (as you know) would go for about $100-$120 probably more since he is an adult male. I would not label him when selling as a super giant if not proven. Hey thats just my 50cents.LOL. Others may have a different opinion.

Do you know where I might be able to find one? I have been looking everywhere for a super giant but all places are over $300 and some are way over $500 specially when they are over 10 inches or pushing 120-130plus grams. I don't care if it's a normal morph and not a fancy breed but as long as it's a super giant I would be interested

Actually ive seen a normal male(with no giant genes) break 150 on another forum and have seen full grown giants in the 80's and 90's....each animal is different and really the only way to prove yours is a giant or super giant is to breed it and prove it out. For that male i would say between 100-150 because of his size and the fact that he's full grown, since you dont know his genetics i dont think you would be able to ask for much more then that. i would say 200ish for the female maybe more maybe less just depends on what somebody would be willing to pay for them ;)

So true on the last part! The male doesn't really look like a giant IMO, just a really fat mature male but there's no way to know for sure.

I think the easiest way to gauge value is to consider what you would pay for them. Personally I wouldn't pay more than $100 for either of them. But that's just me.

Yeah,60 grams at 6 months is prolly a good chance that it's a giant

He was a breeder and said so, but i have no idea im just letting everyone know what he said but i thought that weight that quick was a pretty good sign. i also thought the price was good.

not to say it wasnt but alot of the breeders and people on this site get leos up to 60 by 6 months without being giants or at least do not advertise them as giants.

How big is that MTA I sent you. He isn't a giant. His father was 48 grams and mom was 61 grams when bred. they are not much larger this season.

Hatch Date 06/01/07
46 Grams as of 10/05/07
