how much CGD?

so my gargoyle gecko is coming in tomorrow and she will be eating CGD. How much do i give her in a feeding and how often should i feed her. she is 3 months old. and i will be using 2 oz cups to dispense the food in. and how long is the CGD good for before you throw it out?

Each gecko is different. If it's all gone the first night add more the next, if there is a lot left reduce it the next time. I would start with about half of the cup.
It is good until it starts to mold, usually 2-3 days then you can add fresh cgd that night.

Yup, you can keep it in there. In the warmer months you may find fruit flies come along quickly. Check it each day to look for any signs of molding. You should also spritz it with water to keep it moist.

I feed 1/2 tsp of CGD with three times that amount of water every Mon, Wed., Fri. I've been doing it since my gecko was tiny and it still works --he's about 53 grams.

They eat very little for their size. If it's an adult you can feed every other day, otherwise feed daily.

By the way, do you keep any rhacs, acpart? I live right near you and I think we both go to the NE herp society.
