how much space do crickets need

i have a 21 gal rubbermaid is this big enough for five hundred 1/4 inch crickets and were do i go to get those egg flats without having to buy eggs flukers didnt have them

That should be plenty of room for 500 crickets, if you can find a breakfast restaurant near you you can ask them for there egg flats.

I keep 2000 crickets in a 29 gal. tank

My crickets get shipped with egg flats, and that sounds like enough room.
