I finally managed to find a scale (alot harder then you may think) and weighed my one male, he's 18 grams but has only been eatting since i got him for about a week now. i slowly brought the amount of crickets i give him up and now i give him 3 everyday since he is finally eating... i dont really know his exact age but he is smaller then my female (housed separately) and other male, my female is about 10-11 months so im pretty sure hes at least a couple months younger... should i be feeding him more then this? ive tried to give him mealies but didnt take to them at all and since its taken over 3 weeks to get him to eat crickets it is

i would put about 5 in every night and what he doesnt eat you should take out in the morning because during the day he wont eat much.

I dont think waiting until morning to take the crix out would be healthy for the gecko, because it may stress him out more. Feeding when its darker may help his appetite though

Geckos will eat about 5-6 if they are of appropriate size at every feeding. Adult geckos will eat every other day which is about 3 times a week. Juveniles will need to eat everyday. The size of the prey needs to be half the width of the head and no longer than the length of the head. You don't have to worry about bringing the number of prey given up slowly.
