Well I recently got a male and 2 females, and found out now that my one female may be gravid. She's starting to show a bit so I want to be ready if she does lay fertile eggs. I was told if she is gravid it would be by this male....Griffin(I'm not sure what morph he is so any help would be great):

and here is a picture of Lois who I've been told is some form of Albino??:

So my question is if/when I do have some little ones, what is the normal price to ask for considering their morphs? I am definitely not in this to make gobs of money lol, but I also don't want to ask 1/10 of what they are worth.

Sorry for so many questions guys....this will be my first clutch and I want to do right by them so I figured I'd ask the experts on here.

Those are tremper albinos. Depending on color and pattern, they can range from $20 at the very cheap end to well over $100,

once you get hatchlings, find some comparable ones for sale and there's your price point.

Thanks Paul, that helped a bunch. I kind of thought they were tremper albinos, but I haven't been into these long enough to be sure. When I got them the kid told me there was something special about the male's eyes as well?

He just needed to get rid of them because he was moving for college. The mating happened when he had a friend "pet-sitting" them and he thought it would be cute to put the male in with the females. So all in all he was a good guy, just doesn't have great friends :main_rolleyes: Either way, I paid $15 for him so I'm not complaining!!

I hate asking 100 questions and sounding like an idiot, but I figure I have to learn somehow :main_huh: thanks for the information...

Oh no I didn't mean it like that lol, just giving a bit of background. Thanks again for the help. I'll be sure to post pictures of the little ones so you can let me know what you think!

There is lots of info in the incubation portion of the forum. Make sure it is set up and running properly so you are ready for those eggs!
It will be super exciting, especially if this is your first set? Keep us updated!

Oh I've been looking the site over every spare second I've had this past week or so! My husband and I spent the last few days getting the incubator (we have a Hova-bator) to the right temp, at 85 degrees - which I've told will produce a mixture of males and females. I also went and picked up the Perlite yesterday, along with the incubation containers. This site has been a SUPER help as this IS my first set...so I'm very nervous, but confident with all the smart owners and breeders here ready to answer any silly question I throw at them :D
