How often do you clean?

I don't have any knobtails yet, but am planning to get one this year (levis and/or amyae). Just wondering how often do you need to clean their tanks? Do you need to replace all the sand? I plan to keep him in a glass tank 60x40x28cm, do you think that'll do? My leos will leap from the top of their hides to try to jump out, will the knobtails do simialar things? If so, I might need to make the tank a bit higher

One more, what do you do if you want to feed him but he is hiding in his caves and tunnels? Do you dig him out or do you just leave 1 or 2 roaches running in his tank overnight?

I would like to hear this answer as well as I have had my knobtails for maybe bout 4 months now and never intended to switch the sand out at all, just scoop up the feces.

I spot clean (scoop da poop) every 1-2 days. Instead of using a strainer type scoop, I remove the poop along with some of the substrate. Once a month, i will replace all substrate. I use play sand from HD so it is not that expensive. It would be way more costly if i were using reptile company branded sand.
