Hi everyone,
I am still getting used to my first Leo, and i hav a question. How often do i need to completley change her substrate? i have her on paper towels, and i "clean up after her" with a plastic spoon, but i know eventually i will need to do a bit more real cleaning. I have only had her for about a week, so i am still trying to figure everythingout. Thanks!!

I change the poopy paper towels out every night or when they are soiled. I replace all the paper towels in my tubs once a week.

Once they decide on a pooping spot (if they ever do!!), that's where I put small pieces of paper towel.
I have to take those up at least once a day.
The rest of the substrate never really gets dirty (well, I guess I souldnt say never!!).
I guess every few months.

I only use paper towels in my hatchling enclosures and I change those out every night ( my hubby is a neat freak and thinks they need it,lol). The adult tanks, I use tile and I clean the poo spots as I find poo ( usually once or twice a day). We wipe them out once a week and do a complete clean once a month.

I use blank newspaper I change it out everyother day when I feed them. I have a stack off the paper already cut to size for there container so I just slide one out and slide the new on in.

I take out the carpet and give it a good cleaning every week or two.
