I know she is a baby but I don't know exactly how old she is, I forgot to ask when I bought her.
I've havn't had her that long probably about a month or so and she is pretty much the same size
as my hand, you can see this in the video. She isn't a hatchling as she is too big and she isn't an
adult as I don't think she is big enough.

From the video, Indie looks to be almost full grown. It's so very hard to tell with leos because they vary in size so greatly! That may be the full size she gets to.

Another thing I noticed from the video is that she is kept on bark chips? Have you thought of possibly changing substrates to paper towels, or tiles, or repticarpet? I've heard negative things about bark chips in gecko tanks.

Thanks for replying. I thought she was a baby because she is quite tiny and skinny compared to my friends gecko which is 5 years old.

Yes it is woodchips and I have thought of changing it but I am going to keep it as it is becuase it looks nice, it smells nice and she doesn't
eat it as she has mealworms in a bowl so no chance of her accidently eating some when feeding.

I just had a go at measuring her and she is around 15cm = 5.9in if that helps at all?

Looks to be anywhere from 6-12+ months.

You really should reconsider the wood chips. It may look nice, but you could get the same effect with tile and eliminate the risk.

Cute gecko.. I really can't tell her age I just can tell young hatchlings from adults. But I agree with the people and the wood chips, they aren't "recommended for leos" I'd be scared of the poo and stuff getting stuck between them and having some growth of bacteria or something, eww.. Lol.. Plus you said it had an odor. When I had my leo I didnt you anything that had a smell that I could atleast smell because I didn't know about her sensitivity to different smells.

Thanks for all your opinions and advice.

LizMarie - I have now started putting some papertowel in the corner that she uses to poo so there's no chance
of bacteria and I clean that area out often. The smell is very subtle and its because of the woodchips being over
the heatmat, it doesn't seem to bother her at all as she is always on the heatmat.
