Ok,i want to try my first breeding attempt next month or so,how should i introduce my female to the male?
They ALL have their one 10Gal and i don't know if i can just put the female in the males tank or other way around because i think both in the 10Gal even for a little while may be to small.
And how long should i leave the female with the male, and how can i make sure they don't fight or something?

THX for all the help.

You can put them together just watch to make sure the male doesnt get too
"agressive" and start taking bites out of the female!
Are they both about the same age and size?

Keep an eye on the female as well, she may not take a liking to the males advances, or may not be ready. If either one of them completely freaks out, seperate at once and try again later.

They are the same age(over 2 years) but the male is smaller then the female(but both over 50g).

Then I dont see any reason why you cant put them together with some
supervision.
They may not even pay any attention to each other.

I had a pair like that, it seamed like they didnt even know the other was
there!
One would even walk right over the other one like it was a stick or something
laying on the floor, and just an obstacle in the way!! LOL, it's funny to watch! :main_laugh:

The only way to know is to try it out :main_yes:

I just don't want to leave them alone and they harm each other.
How much time should i give them to mate?
