Yeah, that is how my hatchlings are right now; they just eat like the adults. Since mealworms are pretty much out right now, you might have to buy smaller crickets.
I use a very shallow bowl and put about 10 small mealworms in. If I put in too few,they all congregate along the sides of the bowl and the babies can't find them. Some of my babies couldn't find the mealworms if the bowl was too deep, so I start with a jar lid and when I start seeing multiple substantial poops I gradually increase the depth of the bowl and the size of the mealworms. Even though the babies can technically be fed after their first shed, some take longer to be ready to eat. My 2 gram hatchling born 5/11 is now up to 8 grams and eating well out of a deep mealworm dish.
