beardies LOVE LOVE LOVE! dubia
beardies LOVE LOVE LOVE! dubia
Lol yeah beardies love dubias(what doesnt?) but yeah mealies should be a treat strickly for breadies. Superworms too. You're definatlly gonna have more then you need(for your leo and beardies) to start with. Maybe consider donating some to the rescue you adapted your leo from? Im sure they'd be very thankfulyour sister show know beardie health=w=
Yeah:/ but they dont. I brought up too that shes a normal that there would be no point in me breeding her that there are enough normals and they said i was just trying to convince them so i could=-= they werent that bright i dont think(no offence ment to them) housing there leo on sand and all:/ ironically enough if i hadnt said i have any reptiles i could have adopted her without a contract even=-= Like i said i think there hoarders in desguise. I'd really have loved for her to join my Juicy juice(whos blind in a eye!) so she could have had a friend since Bel needs to be alone(devish hunter!) and Juice often followed her around because of her bad site.
Eh if ya ever need help with breeding the boogers feel free to message meGlad to help again! and if you consider breeding dubia(roachs) can help there too. Dubias are much much muchhhhhh better for any reptile. easy to breeed too: D
Gasp! you didnt mention the greens! shes giving them greens right? Idk if there babies or adults but babies diets should be about 70% protien and 30% greens and then adults should be oppostie 30% protien and 70% greens(roughly) Baby beardies can be boogers when it comes to eating here greens(but arent we all when were young? lol)
Do mention to her dubias. It'd save her a bundle! easy easy breeders!! Im doing it without much though at all(since they do it themselves) its just a matter of finding a good palce to get some. even if you breed them for your leo, you'll have more then you need and Dubias are going for a decent prices right now, you could make some money off them if your colony is big enough!
It depends on how hot it is. Thermostate no you dont need that for them*if you have one already cant you hook it up to that?* a simple 1-5 uth works just fine. They like heat and humitiy. Its worth it in the long run but to each his own. My geckos love their dubias. Wont turn them down ever(minus bel).
Ya know the power stripes they sell? lol you can plug them in and use them as long as you dont exced the wattage use its works just fine;D Im using one that holds up to 800w i have 9 UTHs going with it, plus a heating pad and then the roachs 1-5 gallon UTH.
Yesum just remember do NOT excede the wattage amount. All that the UTH add up to be less then 150 wats at one time im sure 4 30-40 that suck out 16 wats(i think) and 5 10-20s that suck out 8 wats(i think) then the heating pad takes about the same as a 10-20 and a 1-5 is like 4 wats thats under 150 and my limits 800 wats with this one theremostate. IT is HOWEVER a bit tricky to do with one probe but done right it works;D
