compared to other geckos, my geckos dont each as much, coz my gecko is left behind by my friend's geckos(which are brothers and sisters of my gecko)... how can i heighten their appetite?

they are place in a pretty busy place where there is noise always and has a light always... should i place them somewhere really dark like there's not a light? and a place where it is really quiet? or can i do some routine like removing there food for 2days and putting it back...? coz i just leave a dish full of mealworms with calcium and a water dish, and that's it... but i dont see the mealworms decreasing a LOT, just a little...

well?

I'm no expert but I would say move your gecko to at least try it out and see if it helps. Due to environment change for your gecko, it might not eat for a day or two, or it might just eat the same it did. But after a few days it might start to eat more. What is the temp you keep the tank at? If it's to cold in the tank, it might not feel hungry. Hope this helps. Again, I'm no expert.

If your set up and temps are right, then providing with more security (more hides and block them from all the traffic outside) may help. I think you should give that a try. You can also try different food items, maybe they prefer crickets more than mealworms?

Are you saying yours is housed with the others?
Here are things I do and I'm sure there are many more..... They are nocturnal so they would prefer "hunting" at night or darkness....But I have some in a lighted areas that have done OK......
Do you want them to eat or are you wanting to "see" them eat?.......because having the meal worms available all the time will give them a better chance to pick a few when they want.....Temp(ting) feed yours.......tease it with the worms. Remove its hide that its in or take a worm in tongs and wiggle it in the opening of its hide. Drop a worm in the opening. Drop a wiggling worm in front of it...., wiggle it in front of its nose. Take it away from it. Drop it again.....etc., etc.,,Make it want that worm before it gets away.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,try putting fresh pineapple
skin or orange peals in with your meal worms....This helps both liven them
and I'm assuming scent or flavor them....My personal tests show my geckos favor them more........and will even eat my meal worms when I feed wax worms too. Example : I feed 3 or 4 meal worms, a wax worm, then go back to meal worms. If they don't eat after the wax worms, I stop the feeding.
That way they don't get the candy, if they don't eat their spinach.
Take care ....... HJ

i just want them to eat more, i dont care if i see them or not :) i'll try the orange peel thing and pineapple :) but i dont have enough time wiggling each and every worm in front of them, lol :D that would consume my time very much, so i'd stick with keeping them in the dark most of the times and feeding the worms with orange peels to add some falvor into it :) thanks a lot! :)

OK, then keep the food out 24/7 but keep fresh out every two days or so. If you keep the food in a dish, add a carrot round to the bowl.......LOL, yeah you don't have to wiggle them forever. Just until it starts eating better. I think a wax worm once in a while can both put a little weight on and stimulate their eating...........note that not only is the fresh pineapple my first choice but it is more costly, but more so generates pesty fruit flies (knats) I now go with the oranges because of them..............take care.
