? how to sex crested geckos ?

is the male more outgoing lol.. i just started with my cresties. well they are my daughters. we can let them think that ahah.. anyhow, one is more active then the other. one is really lazy maybe that the male? any help is appreciated. i am sure there is a thread about it already.. i just could not find it.

I am not good with sexing the young ones
I believe that people look for the pores on males with a Jewelers Loupe on babies

At sexual maturity-the males are obvious-with large bulges underneath the base of their tail
It is extremely obvious when they are "froggie butts"-lol
Honestly-I've never noticed a difference in makes and males wit them being more outgoing

I just wait until they're a year old and it's obvious. LOL I hate trying to sex Cresteds! One day I'll be sure I see bulges coming and then the next day it'll look like a female. Of the Cresteds I've held on to this year, it looks like 2 of 10 are females. Not so great for odds... but that's how it goes sometimes.

thanks for the greaT info. i am not trying to do it to breed them i just want to plan ahead just in case i have to separate them want to have another enclosure ready.....
