how to tell if leo is okay... :'(((

My leo named squirt today was getting a "bath" I was trying to get shed off her/his toe... well she climbed onto my hand i am like okay still trying to pull it off. squirt jumped!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the lil thing fell like 1-2 feet I "caught" with my hand then she/he jumped again!! and fell maybe a max of 1 ft. so far he/she seems okay. alert and walking fine but I am scared =[

Squirt is probably fine if she is walking alright. Don't worry too much, 1-2ft drop shouldn't cause any problem. I have had a gecko jumped from my shoulder to hard floor, and he did fine (scared the hell out of me though).

For some reason all of my tangerines think they can fly. We have to be really careful when we're walking around with them. Every single one of them has taken a dive off a shoulder or a head, and one scary time, there was a seven foot drop from the top of a tank. And every one of them was perfectly fine. They're sneaky little buggers but they're pretty resilient. As long as Squirt is walking fine, as Bonnie said, she's probably just fine.

None of my others think they have wings...it's just the tangs! lol

Lol, I think all leos think they can fly! I cannot tell you how many of mine have just randomly jumped from my hand! The worst is hearing that horrible smack when they hit the floor. All mine have been fine though, thank goodness! I think a 1-2 ft drop shouldnt be too bad. Just keep a close eye on her

It must be something in the morph that makes them daredevils, because mine does the same thing. Even when I let her out to just get some free roaming on my bed now and then (which she loves, a balled up corner of blanket makes a great cozy cave) she always heads right for the edges no matter where I put her and tries to jump off. All of my other leos that get to come out for that kind of exploring are content to just basically lounge around on whatever area I let them roam (which is limited, I make sure its a safe and clean a place as possible.) She did take a fall once and it scared me badly too, it really isn't a very pleasant thud. I'm glad to hear yours is doing well though after her scare.
