how to tell the difference between TUG snow and Mack snow

sorry for my ignorance but, how can you tell MACK snows and TUG snows apart? thanks.

You have to know the lineage - you can't tell them apart from the appearance!
And tug snows give NO super snows!

well, TUG snows CAN produce super snows if crossed to Mack snows, supposedly!
