You really do not have to do anything except kept its cage clean. If your setup has any loose substrate move the gecko to a tank that is just tile or towels.

Some people treat with Neosporin to prevent infection, but this may be bad for them. I have read much conflicting info.

I have found that Repti-Wound helps cuts and abrasions heal nicely, I get plenty of reptile 1st aid experience thanks to the cats catching wild geckos.

I use stuff called tamodine on any cuts my reptiles get, ive found its just like iodine that is used on us humans, I keep a bottle around, if you think its getting infected rub a little on a cotten bud on the tail. Apart from that i agree with Dan.
Feed your gecko as usual i would say, allways have mealworms avaliable in the viv and keep a pot of waxworms ready for the gecko, nice and fatty to get that tail back.
After that make sure the gecko is eating and hope for the best.
