My name is Dave and I'm from New England and I'm starting to get addicted to leopard geckos :main_rolleyes: It's kind of nice because I'm starting to get away from my previous addiction (reef tanks) and geckos are a little cheaper

My wife and I orig purchased 2 geckos for her 5th grade classroom for classroom pets. We bought a super hypo carrot tail baldy and a snow from a buddy at work who is a breeder. We bought a 10 gallon set up from him very cheaply. Unfortunately the two of us and our cat became very attached to the 2 geckos and we decided to purchase 2 more for her classroom so we could keep the orig two... Thankfully the new geckos will be making their way to her classroom because we're starting to get attached to them as well...

The two newer geckos were another snow and a jungle albino... Stay tuned for a few pics

These were right when we got them about 2 months ago... They've grown a lot and the snow is showing awesome coloring

Here is the jungle albino aka "Al" which is subject to change because my wife's students are going to vote on a name but I told her to rig the elections hehehehehe...

Our cat enjoying the geckos... The first night she was smacking the side but she doesn't do it anymore... And to be honest the orig snow (Andy) almost seemed to enjoy teasing the cat...

So like I said I've had them for a few months now and whenever I start something new I research the hell out of it and I'm in the process of doing a whole new setup with styro fake rocks...

And I kind of made the water dish into a little humid hide since I really didn't have too much room...

Hopefully the wife will love this setup so much she'll let me do it to her classroom tank
