Here are some pics of my girls first clutch, or half a clutch. My question is, is it looking fertile?
Other egg is in her stomach. This was laid at approx 10pm July 2

Update*

Checked on this bad boy this morning at 12 and it has hardened up! Its incubating at 81F so in 4 weeks from July 2 I will candle it to see if it really is fertile. Wish me luck!

Good luck! One of my first clutch eggs is hard, looks good but candles infertile. But mine didn't harden up. It looks like you've got a viable egg.

Got a question here.
The egg is sorta flattened like a pancake. Not totally flat but it doesnt seem to have that oval egg shape. This may have happened because when my girl was laying she stepped on this egg 2-3 times. Would this damage the egg if it was within the first hour of the egg being layed?

What are you useing as an incubation medium?

Sand. I have a fish tank filled with 91F water. It is around 70-90% humidity. Its 81 in the sand.
