would a hypo tangerine parent (from a SHTCT pairing) produce SHTCT offsprings? it will be mated to a highyellow (from a tang breeding/pairing) w/tang influence.

You should get a mixture of high yellow and hypo tang babies but they may not be as hypo or as tang as the parents.

Claire is right. I have bred a hypo tang to a high yellow and i got mostly hypos but they were not quality hypos like the parents. When you do this you kindof "water down" the linebred qualities.

oh ok. i guess i'll just pursue a SHTCT/B male for my female. i shouldn't settle for anything less i suppose. thanks.
