Hello all I was just hopeing to get some insight as to what you all use for your humid hides. I use a mixture of perlite and moss but I am finding it hard to just keep the hide humid for a week. My temps are mid 80s but they just dry out so fast. I am woundering what method you all use for you humid hides.....i.e. what substance do you use in your hide? how big is your hide? how much water goes in your hide? how often do you have to add water to the hide? any info would be ghreat there has to be a better way than having to add water a few time a week...

Thanks for the link nice info there but i am more looking for a way to keep the himid hide welll.humid so when my females lay there eggs they have a better chance of not drying out this was a big prob i ran into this year as this was the first season i moved everyone to a rack system i made myself. I could leave at 3am for work and by the time is got home sometime very late in the night i would find the eggs they would seem a little dry but after a week or so in the incubator they would go bad and this is the problem i am trying to fix the famales are not fist season breeders.

I just use paper towels but the only bad thing is that it dries out pretty quickly.
