Humidifier as Mister?

I'm at the end of being ready to get my Crestie, but I need some guidance on things. I know they need a humidity level of around 50%, and I have been looking into purchasing some sort of auto-mister for my tank. This is because I live in Colorado where we have almost no humidity, and my room has 0% humidity.

I have read that the Haaba-Mist gets very bad over a few months, and I do not have the money to purchase a large mister. I have been looking into buying a very small humidifier. However, I would most likely not run it 24/7. Probably only for 10 minutes or so every hour, to make the humidity up but not extreme.

I came across this:

Very small humidifier that uses a water bottle. I have read reviews, and everyone says that it is quiet and works great.

Thoughts?

Hey here is something you can try with a humidifer, checkout this address, http://www.geckosunlimited.com/community/do-yourself-diy/28775-external-ultrasonic-fogger.html
I have made 2 of these and put them on timers and you can used tubing and various coupling so that each humidifier can be used on several enclosures. I found the humdifier at wal-mart and all the other parts at a hardware store. Each set up cost about $40 or $50. The humidifiers are super quiet and have huge tanks for water. Maybe this will be helpful.

Thanks for the link. It was very helpful.

I think I may do that, if I could find a way to clip on the hose since I use a vertical tank (20 long on end).
