Humidity?

I don't use any meter for my humidity levels all though I'm sure people do.

I just mist the papertowels every other day or everyday if I see one is about to shed I make sure it stays pretty moist.

I dont know the exact hummidity in my leo cages, I just use a humid hide and that works, leos dont really need much hummidity, they like it dry.

Yup, I agree, you don't really need anything fancy to gauge humidity. Just keep a container with moist paper towels available (I keep mine over part of the heat source) and mist as needed . . . your leos should be able to shed without a problem. The rest of your cage should be dry and warm to prevent respiratory problems. :)

Thanks everyone... I just found a $14 hygrometer on sale for $1.99 so I figured it would be worth that to get. But It is only reading about 20% (30% after I spray him) and just thought that was a little low. But it seems to not be much of an issue with anyone, so thanks for the comments!

if it helps

always keep moist moss in the hide...got bark substrate...which is 'lightly' sprayed every 2 days...it a good heat conductor and helps with the shedding;) ...hope this helps

Yep, thats all you have to do, you can easily over complicate keeping geckos, but they are really pretty simple.
