I don't know what the actually level is. I just put 6 parts Perlite, and 4 parts water. By weight not volume, hope that helps.

I've always wondered what humidity level the 0.8 water to Perlite ratio actually yields. Not curious enough to buy the gauge, though. Perhaps someone who owns a humidity gauge could measure it for informational purposes? My estimate is somewhere between 60-80% inside the container, depending on incubation temperature.
