Can Experienced Breeders Respond to my Question Please: What would the offspring look like & what morph precentages would I get if I bred a Hybino Bell to a Bold Stripe Bell? Thanks! :main_thumbsup:

i have bold stripe bells and also hybino bell's but i've not bred them together, i think the co dom hypo part of the hybino would mask the linebread jungle part of the bold stripe and you'll end up with hypo bells, this is assuming your hybino is a superhypo bell

First of all, ANY Bell-to-Bell breeding will produce 100% Bells. I also agree that the line-bred 'hypo' influence would 'dilute' the BOLD of the stripe.

Your right about the hypo sort of...lol and as far as the stripes are concerned although some stripes may be line breds, the ones I work with and many others, are as simple recessive as it gets.

nick44 said his stripes were bold stripe bell , which is linebread jungle, not simple recessive, and if his hybino is a superhypo then every offspring will be a bell hypo

Thanks for your input guys.

Marcia would you reccommend breeding a Bold Stripe Bell to a Hybino Bell or do you think there would be a better match for the Hybino Bell. A picture of my hybino bell is in my album on my profile if you would like to see him.
