Hypo Mack Snow hatchlings ?

Hello everyone,

this year I just tried to breed my SHTCTB het. Tremper albino male to Mack snow female. I was expecting some Hypos and Hypo Mack Snows, but now looking at my hatchlings, they seem pretty same to me and I can't tell potential buyers what exact morph are they. So could you, please, help me identify them, or at last give me some clues ? Photos of hatchlings are below.

Thank you very much. :)

Yes, they do kind of all look alike. They're all 50% het for Tremper albino. Unless there are some that looked like snows when they hatched (i.e. black and white vs. black and yellow), none of them looks to be a snow. You could say that it throws into question whether your Mack snow female is really a Mack snow, but on the other hand, I only produced 1 eclipse in 10 from my het eclipse x het eclipse pairing. I'd call them all high yellows.

Thanks for the answer, acpart. I bought that mack snow female really cheap, for 12€ I think & I was hoping for her to be Mack snow, regarding to her baby pattern (she was just black & white, developed yellow colour & lavenderis tail later). A will add photos of younger ones below.

Your best bet when selling is to list the pairing as the description. So SHTCTB het tremper x mack snow. The only concern with this pairing really is if your mack snow is het for an albino strain. Most are.

Thanks for reply Kristi23. Yet it seems like this MS is not het for Tremper, maybe some other albino strain, but it is not very likely, because other albino strains than Tremper are pretty rare here, only few breeders are working with them. But I have to admit I am bit disappointed with these baby colour, when I compare them to Hypo from my Eclipse Blizzard Patternless-Stripe het Tremper albino (insane, I know), photo below:

Usually it takes a few years of SHT x mack snow to get decent color (creamsicles). I would have expected more hypo looking animals, but that might take a couple years, too. Definitely gives you something to work towards though. :)

Creamsicles are my far far future plan, hope I will get some in few years :) Next year I am aslo going to breed SHTCTB het Tremper with Super Snow het Tremper and I'm really looking forward for their hatchlings.

Well, all hatchlings by this couple seems to be more or less the same, except for the last one (photo below)

Gecko is about 1 month old at the photo, 12.8g, Parents are SHTCTB het Tremper albino & Mack Snow

I'm pretty much interested in what will develop from this one. SH would be great, but this is the darkest Hypo hatchling I have, so maybe there will remain some spots. Probably I like this the most out of my hatchlings - it is super tame altough still screams at me.
