First off i need some help. My newest leo is small. I think shes really small for her age. She was less then a month when i got her in the beginning of January and now its the beginning of April. So shes a little more then 3 months. She is only 5 inches and skinny. When i got her she was underweight. Im confused though....she eats like a pig!!??? Ive seen her eat. She is small but takes about 6-8 medium mealworms a day. She is housed with 2 adults but they all get along great. There is no competition for food as shes usually the first to the bowl. I dont get it??!!:main_huh: I dont know if i should seperate them. They all like eachother alot. They sleep together and everything. I dont know if she may be depressed if i move her. And the problem is that the only place to move her is to the 10 i have setup for my hatchling due today or tomorrow....what should i do?? Thanks

A juvie really shouldn't be housed with adults. Even if you think they're all getting along they may not be, you can't watch them 24/7. You should put her in the 10g tank and just get another one for the hatchling. A check up at the vet also wouldn't hurt.

Right, we have two females that just cannot be housed together, just because one is two years old (50g), and the other, only one year, but much smaller (40g)...the poor little one gets pushed around by the older one, and we didn't actually see the bullying until a month after they had lived together. Thank goodness there weren't any actual bite marks or injury to either animal.

You may want to have a fecal done. I had a male that ate like apig and wouldn't gain weight. Come to find out he had pin worms. Once he was treated he started to really gain. I agree that I would also put her into a 10 gal. by herself until she is a bit bigger.

I would move the gecko in question into it's own tank (the 10 gal) and get a medium to large critter keeper or another 10 gal for your expected hatchling

If you have more eggs incubating you are going to need to get tubs or something set up for those hatchlings

They do so much better when housed individually and I don't believe that these lizards have the mental capacity to be depressed or have the need for company

As was already mentioned-having a fecal test done is never a bad idea
hope this helps
