I feel so silly

Ryuu is MASSIVE compared to little Nyoko. I know, that's a "duh" statement.

Nyoko isn't a massive piggy like Ryuu... but then again, I don't actually remember how much Ryuu ate- nor was she this tiny when I got her.

Nyoko hasn't shed yet either- then again there is that size difference in when I got them....

Nyoko's tank is the correct temp tho, and has the correct lighting and substrate... but neither came from correct set ups before...

I know you're not supposed to compare your kids, but I'm getting paranoid.

bah... seems like Nyoko likes to chase his food in his tank... I was really hoping that was not going to be the case.... but at least he's finally eating more than 10 crix in a day now.

My girl is just 6 months old now and i only recently started putting crickets in her tank instead of using a separate feeding tub. One cricket at a time and she darts around after it. I'm ultra paranoid about a random cricket roaming the cage or hiding.

I feed outside the tank still. And most Hugo takes per feeding session is some fruit/salad mix from a teaspoon, 11 small crickets and 3 roaches. Then, he's full and simply won't open his mouth anymore. ;)

I tried to feed her outside the tank, and she eats- but she isn't used to the dogs barking yet like the other kids, and it scares her and she quits eating... she only eats about 7 crix a day if I feed her outside the tank... yesterday, she ate about 18. I take apart the tank daily if I need to to catch stray buggies- but I ordered roaches yesterday... so maybe she'll figure out how to eat out of her dish.

I feed mine with a food dish in his tank. I put 8 roaches (mostly lateralis) in there at a time, if its finished, I'll put in another 8. Weetbix eats around 12-16 per day, with 3-5 silkworms as morning treats. He'll take pieces of greens from my fingers now, but I don't think he is voluntarily eating them from his salad bowl.

Nyoko likes to climb around and chase his food... I may carpet his feeding bin and see if that helps. Make it more "home-like" :)
