I have been seeing some Leo's at a local pet store (big chain). I did some research and fell for em. I kept checking back two or three times a week, for 3 weeks, keeping track of how well they were doing.

They were kept in a decent container, even had a moist hide. None had skin stuck to their toes or anything. Overall, healthy Leo's.

Long story short, I had been piecing together a habitat, that I finished last night and today when I went in to buy one, they were on sell, so I bought two. They are both fairly young, but I believe they are both female.

Ill get some pics tomorrow after I get some batteries for my camera.

I'm just a guy from Jacksonville, Fl. Don't mind me, I'm just here for the Leo's.

Here are the pics I promised. I got impatient and went got some...

This is the setup as of now. Next month when I get my tax return, I'm gonna get a 40 gallon. The white bowl in the middle with terracotta piled on it is the moist hide. Don't mind the spot light, its not plugged in. This is the same setup I started with seven years ago when I got my bearded dragon(my mom adopted him when i left for BMT, so I let her keep him).

This is the more skittish one. I love the coloring though.

This one has not stopped exploring since I got it home.

I accedentaly busted one, so i figgured, "why waste it?". I baked and washed it.

I'm going tomorrow to get the rest of the stuff I need.

Welcome

Howdy & Welcome to the GeckoForum.

Great use of the Broken Pot.

Smaller Pots with holes cut in the side can be turned upside down and used as hides.

This is a great site ... have fun.
