well at least that saves you some space! I only have a 20L (with a female chinese dwarf hamster, and a 30g tank with my SHTCTB in it. But the last weekend in feb., I am getting another 30g, for the leo I will be getting as my secret santa present!

It is NEVER a good idea to mix species, ever, no exceptions.

Those two animals would not live in the wild together, you don't need to do it in captivity.

You wouldn't have your Leo living with your Pacman would you?

Not to mention Anoles and Fire belly newt's live in different environments, newts are almost fully aquatic and only need a small land section, while anoles need trees close to the ground and cover to hide under.

Anole's require UVB while newts don't.

Newts need cool temps, while anoles need hot temps and regularly bask. The temps they need could cook newts. Newts need no higher then 75, anoles need 80-85, with a basking spot of 100-110.

absolutely. and the enclosure with the frogs and the newts is tiered into 3 parts. canopy/tree for the anole. water fall rocks hide plants for the fire bellies and the pond for the newt. they've lived together for a long time and i haven't even lost one. none show aggression towards each other. all the temp requirements are the same for the 3 species and a cricket diet for all of them as well. i've seen many people have chinese water dragon enclosures with goldfish and turtles in them.

Yeah it sounds strange because your not supposed to do it.

Anole temps: Daytime temps should range between 85-90 degrees, with a basking spot of 95-100 degrees.

Fire belly toad temps: Air temperature should be maintained at 68° to 75° F with a basking spot of 74° to 85° F. Water temperatures should be 76° to 78° F.

Fire belly newt: do best at temperatures on the cool side - they tolerate room temperature (70 F/21 C) but will be happier at slightly lower temperatures - 68 F (20 C) or a bit lower are more ideal. At temperatures around 75 F (24 C) or higher, they will be stressed and susceptible to infections, particularly fungal infections.

Those temps don't seem all the same to me.

I can chime in a bit on the water dragons, thats my hubby and sons hobby. The goldfish are food, they may live together until the dragon gets hungry, lol. My hubbys dragon is finiky and doesnt like the taste of them though. I have herd of people putting turtles in with the dragons when they have a large water area at the bottom, but we never have. Adult dragons need a 6 foot cage ( we customized a ceder cabnet) and have 20 gallon or more tanks with waterfalls on the bottoms and huge logs comming out of them as they bask too. Don't even ask how much it costs just to feed 2 of them a week. My poor wallet!!!

I think you're being ignored...but I agree with you. No mixing

there are numerous care sheets out there and even books with contradicting temps. i just found 4 caresheets online for the fbt and they all have a different temp.

EDIT: sorry i don't mean to make it seem like i'm angry but it's frustrating to read and do one thing and then be told to do another.

Wow, sounds like you have a lot of animals!!! Congrats on finding your missing animal. I know how frustrating it can be to have everyone voicing their opinion, but it's only for the sake of the animal. I am glad to hear you seperated them
