:( i got a problem with 2 females

Hi . I got problems with 2 females . They are veryy thin and they probably dont want to eat something . i make in this day Mix with mealworms and Nekton rep and i give them to the mouth and they it that . Now im looking and 1 female everything give back on the papers ;( i dont know what to do . These are w&y females they are so beautifull ;( How can i Help them ? have you got some tips ?

WOW! you should not own geckos at all!! If you would let this happened to any animal you are irresponsible. You bring those back to the breeder ASAP! This is pathetic! I know I will probably be banned for this, but you need to get them back NOW! If they came from the breeder like this, why would you buy them?

how long had you had them and how did they look when you got them? what are your cage temps?

you need to get them to the vet ASAP but I do not know if there is a chance of saving them in the shape they are now.

They are in bad shape, but Matt and Dane you could at least try to be helpful, instead of just being rude to other members. He knows there is a problem and he's asking for help. If you don't have an answer, then don't reply. Problem solved.

As Wendy said, they need to see a vet ASAP. Hopefully they can make it until they have an opening.

I agree with Val and Wendy. The geckos look to be in very, very poor shape and it is dire that they see a vet, although for them to be in this condition it is either longterm neglect or disease, or a severe parasite infestation.

Matt and Dane, Val is correct, there is no need to be negative and I strongly discourage that stuff here. It does not help the poster and more importantly it does not help the animals. The only thing it does do is discourage people to post here about health issues of their geckos.

Definitely get these guys to a vet ASAP! In the meantime try Marcias slurry, no promises on that though, looks like they will probably need to be force fed. Not trying to put anyone down, I am just asking that if you cannot get them taken care of, or cannot manage to give them the time they desire, please allow someone else to give them the proper care and help they need. Remember the geckos are #1 here

p.s i buy it because breeder say they are thin so i think i can help them but i didnt know they are THIN LIKE THAT i hope vet gonna help them .

I strongly urge that if a breeder sold those geckos to you like that, that you go to fauna and post this account with the breeder on the BOI so everyone else can stear clear of this breeder

im so happy !!!!!! after school i went to vet . He gives him witamines + glucosamine . When i back home after 1 - 2 hours i give them crickets !!! One female eat 3 crickets ( 2 big and one smalls !!!!!! ) im so happy !!!!! this is big step . But the other female dont want know !!! i am good think . Second female must eat something !! time will tell !! but this 1 female feel much better and she EATS !!!!! i hope second female will feel better too !!

Good that there is some progress
PLEASE, make sure that they are kept away from all the other geckos and that you disinfect you hands etc. so thats any possible bacteria does not contaminate the others.

What did the vet say? Did he give them a fecal exam?
I'm happy to hear they are doing a little better. If the one is eating on her own that is a very good sign. If you are unsure of something don't be afraid to ask your vet or post here. We are here because we love these animals and want what is best for them. Most people here will do whatever they can to help. The fact that you took them to the vet and are doing what you can for them shows that you care about them too. So, good luck and I hope they recover for you.

glad they are making some progress, you may want to try some mealworms dusted with calicum and vitamins too, they are easier for them to eat beacuse they don't have to really use any energy to eat from a bowl.

Guys thank you veryy much Yes i clean my hands and those females are in other boxes . every gecko have got own box . i clean everyday my hands after contact etc. i give about 1 hour ago glucosamine to mouth 1 ml. to this other female . i think tommorow she will be better and i will try to give her some crickets . This 1 look more fine and she now is sleeping and resting on heat cable and i think now when she eat 3 crickets feels much better . Thanks one more time and i will write news when something happens !! i supposse from day to day will be better !! THANKS !

I think that you are to be commended for having taken on the challenge of trying to get those 2 girls back to good health

I am very happy for you that at least one of the girls has started to eat for you on her own

My fingers are crossed that the other girl will soon do the same

YEAHHHHHHH !!! this 1 female eat 1 cricket in this day and she got another 4 in box !! and this second FEMALE a was looking at her and she was from cricket about 10 cm. and she make crazy JUMP !! and she eat 1 big cricket !!!!!

This 1 female eat 1 cricket per day probably . But this second eat only 1 or 2 crickets . What can i do more ? on monday i send phoo to check by doctor . I give them more glucosamine . im worriedd....
