I havent posted in a while,I am still learning about geckos but mine got away about 2 weeks ago,I had a branch in his enclosure and I left the top off when I changed his water.well he got out.I didnt know he would get out and he has been missing until a few minutes ago I found him and he doesnt look good at all.I thought he was dead- he is so skinny and hardly moves.I dont know what to do-
somebody please help me I knwo I suck for letting him out I jsut want him to be ok.

I have to do something I am going to feed him duk soup. something I feed to sick ferrets its a recipe of ground kibble meat babyfood heavy whipping cream and prescription diet ad canned food.it is pout into a syringe and force fed there is no way he could catch a cricket right now.wish me luck.

He may be dehydrated so it wouldn't hurt to soak him in tepid water for a few minutes. We all have escapees at some point so don't feel too bad!

My first thought would be heat, water, and food. If he doesnt drink on his own use an eye dropper or q-tip to put a drop at a time on his lips. I would maybe offer some food by hand, but not to much at once. I would slowly aclamate him back to his regular diet. and definatly some heat. I don't speek from experience so any one feel free to correct me.

def. try the slurry, it is kinda like the duk soup you were talking about only a little geckofied

and you dont suck, we all make mistakes and if you search through her you are not the first (and def. not the last) to have a gecko escape.

Where did you find it buy the way?

He didnt make it through the night Unfortunately ,Thank you for all of your suggestions.He was Just out too long I guess.:(
Oh- I found him behind the trash can in the bathroom.

Im sorry for your loss, but dont feel to bad, like everyone else said, we all have had an escapee at one point or another!
