I have no idea what this means... Do you? [POSSIBLE EMERGENCY?]

When I went to look at my gecko, I found him up on his back legs against the glass for some reason. I thought nothing of that, however he stayed up long enough for me to notice he has this odd dark purple mark on his stomach, almost looking like a vein. Google searches have yielded no results, so I have decided to ask here. Is this mark something I should be worried about? I have never heard of a gecko having this sort of mark on it. He does not appear lethargic and his temperatures are good, so I am not sure what this mark means. I can try to get a picture, but I don't know if I'll succeed. Any help is appreciated.

After a more in depth search I've found that my gecko may be impacted. Sorry I panicked and posted this. Hopefully I can take care of it.

Edit; I actually don't think he's impacted. I think it's possible the purple thing is his internal organs? I'm not sure. I looked at his tummy a bit ago, and the mark was not really all that visible and with the placement it seems possible it's just internal organs. Also in my search I saw other people asking about purple marks like these and that's what they were told. If you think differently though and that it is a concern, please let me know.

If you could post a picture it would help. Without a picture I would say that it is probably just internal organs. When they are babies their tummies can be quite translucent and their organs can be seen, this usually goes away when they get older (depending on the morph).

It is pretty much impossible to get a picture of it, my gecko is very squirmy. I'm pretty sure by now though that it's just internal organs I was seeing.

You're either looking at the liver or spleen. Others have posted with the same concern.

agreed, its most likely the liver. all my geckos have the same colouration.
youd know if it was impaction because the gecko would have stopped eating, stopped pooping, be sluggish, and bloated. you may even see an impacted gecko straining to pooh but nothing happning as well as opening it mouth like its going to be sick. if you have none of these signs then i wouldnt worry.
if you have go to a vet ASAP.
