I have WAY to many mealworms lol

I found a reptile store that sells mealworms $1 per scoop so I went and bought $5 worth because I wanted some to start my own colony and then some to feed my geckos but WOW I didnt realize there were so many until I came home and sorted it all lol I wont need to buy mealworms for a VERY long time if ever lol

Hehe I bought 5000 mealworms because I ran out and they were a good deal. Now I have WAY too many! I think I over compensated when I ran out so...
This happened to me last year as well. I just cant win.

Well soon I will be going for 3 geckos to 10 geckos so they will be put to good use...someday lol

Yeah I just found them today and they are closing for business on Thursday I might go back and get some more lol you can never have too many mealworms

I've had experiences on both ends of the scale:
two years ago I had the season of my life with about 90 hatchlings (I hope that never happens again). Even though I was breeding mealworms, I couldn't keep up and bought 10,000 mealworms the first week of August. By the last week of August they were GONE!

This year I ordered 5,000 mealworms and got the medium size so they'd last for awhile. I guess they were bigger and closer to pupating than I thought because most of them turned into beetles. Now I have LOTS of mealworms.
