I think my gecko has 2 goals in life:
1.Eat as many mealies as he can in his lifetime
2.Climb on my face.
Well, yesterday, he managed to fulfill his second goal in life. Ever since I got Stripes, he wanted to climb onto my face. He always stares at my face and starts walking towards it.
This is how it started yesterday. I was having one of my favourite activities with Stripes: Reading Calvin and Hobbes while playing with Stripes. So I was doing a hand over hand in front of my face and he kept on walking toward my face. Every time he gets close to my face, I move my hand (which he is climbing on) away from my face and put my other hand in front. As soon as he gets on the hand closest to my face I move him back again. So I think he was getting very frustrated.
After five minutes, when he was close to my face, he jumped! I never thought leos jump! He landed on my nose and started climbing up. His claws were scratching my face. He finally got on top of my head. I was afraid to move because he might fall. So he was sitting on top of my head for about 10 minutes. I had to tilt my head to the side otherwise he would scratch my face. After a while I guess he got bored and jumped off my head onto my back then he jumped back onto the bed. (I was laughing throughout the incident)
After that incident, I put him back into his cage and I checked my face. There were scratches all over the right side of my face. So I learned my lesson. DON'T MESS WITH THE GECKO!
