well i actually went back to the guy( to buy some crickets for ringo) and asked him if i had a girl or boy...and he said that he has only hatched females this season...so i guess I LOVE MY LITTLE GIRL .......named Ringo. Its So amazing to watch her Change, lke everday when i look at her. she has more and more spots comming out! She is getting so Big I cannot wait untill she reaches full size!
......ok So most (all but like 2) of my friends and family cannot appreciate the interest that i have taken in Ringo.....Or loepard Geckos in general. They already think i am a little "off" and now this just backs up their theory. for instance I was asking them all what I could possiably use that was non toxic & secure so that i could glue some rocks together to make a new hide for Ringo.. and they couldn't understand why i would not just simply put the rocks in the tank "lets go out here to the desert and none of these rocks are glued together and the lizards are just fine" I became some what irratated with this... trying to explain to them that it was not safe.. they could fall on her and hurt.. if not kill her..... they still stuck with the arguement about lizards in the back yard that were just fine.... :main_no: needless to say they were no help in making a new home for my wee one! O-well I just ignore the headshakes and sarcastic remarks.. I love my Little Ringo.......& told my sons grandmother that as soon as I move and i have more Room, I will have plenty more little leopard geckos running about!!!
Jus wanted to share...
Thanks for listening
