I needed a bit of normalcy in my life

Soo I realized that the only black in my gecko collection were the spots on the tails of my SHTs and so I decided I needed a bit more. Thankfully Ohio Gecko and Magical Geckos were at the Taylor MI show last week to help me correct this blasphemy. Here are my newest additions:

Definitely will keep you updated! She's totally amusing. I have her in a 10gallon quarantine tank on my dining room table and she's the only one of my geckos that is totally out in the open following my every move. I think she's under the impression she's starving all the time. Her 25g bad self only ate 17 full sized mealwoms for dinner last night :p

Both these gals have gained over 20g in two months - now at about 45g and 35g in the pictures below. They're eating me out of house and home! The Xanthic gal is a beast! I cut her down to 20 big mealworms every other day in the hopes she wouldn't grow out of her skin and she acts like she's starving to death! -- constantly staring at me, following me back and forth, and actually seeming to enjoy (or at least not be horrified by) being taken out and carried around. All of my other geckos - even those in cages right next to hers hide 90+% of the time and act like they would rather be left alone. I'm amused. The bold stripe gal is also a hungry little thing but she's living in the rack so I don't get to see if she's bold in personality as well as pattern. After the holidays she might get to move out into the living room to relieve the albino gal that hides all the time...haha.

With another 15g or so added to their piggy little frames they keep getting better! I couldn't be more pleased with these two :)
