i posted on here in november about my patternless leopard gecko. He was having problems eating meal worms and so I switched to crickets. He started eating again, but was still very skinny. I assumed that he was going to gain his weight back over time. Everything seemed like it was going well until 2 days when i went to feed him i noticed that his head is tilted sideways and he is lethargic. I am not sure what to do. money is tight right now and i would love to take him to the vet, but they charge 60-80 bucks just to be there and my boyfriend only makes 100 a week on unemployment. I just dont think i can afford it. I am unsure what to do. I feel that he is suffering and that maybe it is just his time to go, but it makes me soo sad to think that. I dont know whats worse letting him suffer the way he is, or putting him down. I would love more than anything in the world to have him okay again, but I feel helpless. I am looking for any advice on this please help

Crickets keep geckos in my findings kinda small. Maybe i should say lean. maybe increasing the amount of food may help with his weight a lil bit. If you are able to obtain some super worms that may help as well.

Make sure that he is getting the proper vitamins as well as D3. The D3 helps with metabolism and his immune system.

super worms would be a little too big if the leo is having trouble eating.thats a huge meal for a small leo.If the leo is on the edge of dying than wax worms are a last resort. What about assist feeding??? or what about making a slurry recipe.u can get that on this forum.I believe its a sticky thread

Have you been giving him vitamins? I looked at your other threads and noticed you didn't answer their questions. Looks like he lost A TON of weight also.

Roger, they do have different sizes here at the pet stores. I have a hard time finding them but they do have them ;)
