Not what I expected to hatch out at all but still quite cute lol Her clutch mate is a black and white mack snow o_O This one looks all naked compared to her sister. I assume she is albino pattern less but could she develope a pattern later on? Neither parent was a pattern less.

Sorry to sound like such a newbie but I'm still trying to figure out the genetics .. wouldn't a raptor have red eyes? Would she be an APTOR then? here is a pic of her with the other clutch mate (1st pic). And here is the clutch before that (the mack snow can be seen better in the other clutch, the little albino in the 2nd pic I LOVE)

Are you sure there black? A lot of RAPTOR's have deep red eyes.

Well she just hatched out so maybe I'll wait a bit and see :) I don't have any real good pics of her eyes, here is a pic of her hatchling but it's not very good. Need a new camera badly, this one stink st close up shop or dark shots

If her eyes are solid, not normally pigmented albino eyes, then she would be a Raptor. If her eyes have the normal veining and pupil then she would be an Aptor. It's not really a question of what color they are. She's obviously an albino so they are red even if they appear black.

Wait a minute... The clutchmate in the first picture looks like a Normal. Those bands look yellow to me. Is it possible that some eggs got mixed up? Getting a Normal from a Super Snow x anything wouldn't be possible.

I'm with Mel on this one, the hatchling is clearly an albino so the eyes are red whether they currently look it or not. Either some eggs got mixed up or the sire was misidentified, it is not possible to get a normal from a SS.

Well then I guess they must be red, very very solid and dark right now. The albino hatchling in my avatar pic had very red eyes and this other one is just so dark I assumed they were black.

Hmmm they hatched together only 2 days after I figured they'd be due and within 24hrs of each other ..my clutch prior was hatched about 2 wks ago and the next one isn't due to hatch for about another week .. the only other gecko I'm incubating eggs from this season is a SHTCTB which I bought off the same friend who has the super snow and she was bred with him as well. She was gravid when I got her.

The dark one does look more like a normal, bit of white on the first and last few bands but middle is pretty yellow. Here is a pic of my other female, if I did mix the eggs up they could only be hers but she is not an albino .. and I only have these two females. I'll ask my friend for a pic of her male so you can very if it's a super snow. Funny thing is she has a few tang females, an eclipse and a sunglow that she bred all with the same super snow male and she keeps them all together in one large tank but she got a few albino hatchlings and wasn't sure how. Or maybe she used another male prior but I don't know fi she has any others, I'll have to ask!

That does look like a super snow, there must have been a mix up on eggs. Your first clutch with the normal looking one and the raptor is probably a darker shct and the shct mother is het for raptor. your second clutch is typical of a tremper het raptor x super snow cross. There is no way you'd have a non snow with a SS male.

Darn wonder how I mixed those up lol Thanks guys!!! :) I was trying to ID her (the little raptor one) on my own but like I said I'm pretty green still wheni t comes to genetis .. was the one in my avatar pic also a raptor do you think? She had very solid red looking eyes. I thought she was a ruby eyed tremper albino (I got it off of this site, 4th gecko down http://vmsherp.com/ViewLeopards.htm)

I appreciate the help as always guys thanks. Think I will keep my little raptor hatchling :p
