Ideal Humidity for Incubation

Greetings,

What would be the ideal humidity to measure inside a GEO while incubating leopard gecko eggs?

I understand that using a GEO the ratios for water and incubation medium (in my case, perlite) are not very important as the eggs don't sit on the substrate since they stand on the GEO support above the medium. However, I am interested in knowing what is the ideal reading for humidity inside the GEO for a good incubation practice?

Thanks for the help.

I use the SIM, which is similar in some ways to the GEO. I don't measure humidity, but I put enough water in the substrate so there's water condensed on the side of the container. That should do it.

You should be fine not having to measure humidity when using a GEO, provided that you have a good working incubator. But the ideal humidity for incubation should be around 80%.

Well with the GEO they say to use a cup of perlite and 5oz of water with two holes punched in the top. I say do it like that and not worry about it
