What is in your cricket mix? Do your crickets suffer from a high mortality rate as well?

the cricket mortality rate is very low, and the mix is:

20% calcium carbonate
10% nutritional yeast
33% whole wheat
23% lentils
13% fenugreek seed
1% soy protein isolate

along with the dry mix i feed them beets, carrots, oranges, broccoli, and other fruits and veggies...

The 20% calcium carbonate is the most likely culprit, that is a LOT of calcium. Fine for short term (24-48 hour) gutload, but after that you will see a very high mortality rate. I'm surprised you are able to maintain crickets on that mix.

IMO...I go along with Tony.
Should be more like 3 %.
Take care. Hj

Another vote for the proGecko gutload. It's wonderful, and my feeders are noticeably different (in a good way) after being on the progecko gutload. BUY SOME!!!
