Tiamat for whatever reason, has ceased ovulation, it would seem. Her belly has gone back to looking quite pink and normal. I'm not even sure if she was ever in ovulation, really. As it could have been my imagination. lol
Mandarin, however, is in full ovulation. Where Tiamat's spot was harder to see, Mandarin's is as plain as day. She has not eaten in about a week now, although she is pooping on occasion. She is also 50g. She is also displaying all the usual symptoms of ovulation; i.e. climbing the walls, lack of interest in food, climbing all over her tank, etc.
My question is, what should I do? I overreacted with Tiamat, but I just don't know what I should do with Mandarin? If she starts losing weight, should I try the slurry? Is there any possible way to bring her out of ovulation? Will she stay in ovulation until winter? Or will she form infertile eggs? If that happens, should I provide a good nesting site for her just in case? After she lays her eggs, will she stop ovulating?
I'd love any advice you guys could give me. Thank you in advance.
