If the male is smaller than the female...

If the male is smaller than the female, can he still lock up? Both the male and the female in question are over 50g, but the female's body is longer than the male's and the male has a very small regenerated tail. He's tried (what I THINK is unsuccessfully) twice. She just patiently sits and waits for him to get it right but it's looking like he just can't maneuver himself into the right position.

Think he can do it? Or has?

Yep, the male just has a little harder time in the beginning but it will happen, our female is a lot longer than one of our males and he struggled in the beginning but after a few tries he figured it out

last yr 1 of my male is way smaller than his mate... they had 16 eggs , 15 hatched
