your such a bright little girl, dont let this bad experience put you off leos.
when your ready jump back on the horse :)
maybe got for a slightly older gecko maybe about 18 months or so, that still young for a gecko but will be more out of the woods as it were.

okay than I know which one to get.
There's a place in our mall that has a older gecko for sale and he's been there all his life and it's sad cuz he's like a year old. I've been sad for him for a while so i think I'll get him.
But I'll never forget William.

here
My mom says I can get another gecko, but before I do I'm going to research about everything so I don't make the same mistake like with Will.

Sorry to hear about William. As you said I think more reasearch is needed so you don't have another bad experience. A little more than 12 minutes (the time between those two comments) lol! I assume you mean once you have done more reasearch.
You may have done this already but I would go over everything from setup and temps to vitamins and calcium. Try to find out what was the possible cause of Williams passing. Most eye issues are either from lack of humidity, lack of vitamins, or bacteria/infection from something getting in his eye.

Just keep your passion for these animals along with more reasearch and you will be fine.

His eyelids were caved in and his eyes were pits. He might have been sick ever since I got him cuz he always had a problem. I will do more research.
Just buried him in the backyard.
Rest in peace, William.

Awe I'm sorry to hear.
I think its possible you just got a sick gecko :(
If you know of one thats over a year, you may have better luck.
Good luck with your search, losing pets is NEVER easy.
