To get all the questions out of the way
About your leo:
- Sex: female
- Age & Weight: 8 months? Last weigh, 51 g
- How long have you owned your leo: Since mid-August 2012
- Where was he/she obtained (ex. Pet store, breeder, wild caught, friend): friend's geckos had babies

A) Health/History
- How often do you handle your leo: Daily right now, see below
- Is your leo acting any different today? If so how does he/she normally act which differs from now.: She threw up some of her food this morning, and has been acting more lethargic (or I've been watching her more closely) for the last couple of weeks since she fell about 4-5 inches off of a reptile hammock likely onto her hide rock (she has one of those cave-shaped rocks).

- Has he/she had any problems in the past, if so please describe.: See below, nothing prior.

B) Fecals
- Describe (look any different than normal): Pooping mostly urates on one day followed by more normal looking poop the next. That has been since the fall. she normally poops half urate/half dark material
- When was the last time he/she went: March 23rd.
C) Problem
- Please briefly describe the problem and how long it has been going on:
So she fell (on Thursday March 7th), then the next day she threw up two mealworms she ate (but it looked like there was a cat hair in them! I have cats). She didn't eat much after that. She shed the Wednesday after (March 13th). Then on the 14th she pooped something that basically looked like just urates. At that point we went to the vet (Friday, the 15th). Vet thought she looked otherwise fine and ran a fecal, which got run on a more normal looking poop from later on the 15th. She still hadn't really eaten more than one or two mealworms since the fall. On the 18th we got the fecal results back and the vet said her numbers on pinworm were high so gave me four doses to give to her and told me to change out the substrate and things in the cage daily for the next month. I attempted to give her first dose that day (probably got more on me than in the gecko). That night she ate three mealworms. On the 21st she pooped mostly urates again and on the 22nd she ate 7 mealworms. This morning there was a more normal looking poop inthe cage, and she vomited what looked like maybe 2-3 mealworms. This morning she was also willing to eat one mealworm but mostly just licked at a second that was offered. We're going back to the vet tomorrow (with the dewormer in the hopes that they can do a better job of getting it in her than I could).

Housing:
A) Enclosure
- Size: 29 gallon
- Type (ex. glass tank): glass tank with slidey doors
- Type of substrate: reptile carpet with some paper towel in the toilet area and under the warm dry hide
- Hides, how many, what kind: 3 hides- 1 warm dry hide (cave rock thing), 1 humid hide, 1 cool hide
B) Heating
- Heat source: UTH
- Cage temps (hot side, cool side): hot side- 98.1 (the temp gun occasionally thinks it's closer to 100/101 under the cave rock), cool side- 68.7
- Method of regulating heat source: none
- What are you using to measure your temps: temp gun
- Do you have any lights (describe): Just the regular light in the room/window
C) Cage mates
- How many (males, females): none
- Describe health, or previous problems

Describe Diet:
A) Typical diet
- What you're feeding (how often, how much): Mealworms left in the dish, though lately attempting hand feeding. 5-6 get left in the dish daily.
- How are you feeding (hand fed, left in dish, ect):
B) Supplements (describe how often)
- What vitamin/minerals are you using (list brands): reptical left in a dish. 3 parts reptical one part reptivite dusting of mealworms once a week.
- What are you gut loading food with: ground up multigrain cereal with some fruit for moisture

I can post pictures of her and of the enclosure/etc. I'm kind of at a loss at this point, and am concerned some of the problems are related to her fall (even though she was checked by the vet after), especially since the odd pooping behavior of the mostly urates one night followed by a more normal one the next day started the following week. Might this all be a manifestation of the pinworms? If so, it just seems like a really odd set of coincidences. Any suggestions would be appreciated. She's been in this larger enclosure since early February (previously in a 10 gallon, similar setup) so had been hiding out quite a bit prior to the falling incident - the cave rock is in the attached pic, it's shedding resin a bit, so the thought of toxins in the new environment has crossed my mind as well. Pics are of her from a week ago and of the tank. The fall would have been from her hoisting herself partly up onto the bottom of the slidey door ledge onto the cave rock (the hammock sat partly on top of the rock so she could get to it and was suction cupped in below the door ledge).

I would say your problems are parasite related. Im sure the vet already explained to you how you need to keep the tank spotless clean and remove any poop asap.

The fall is unrelated in my opinion. 5 inches is nothing.
If she had had a bad fall (2 plus feet), she may have an actual injury that wouldnt present itself in the form of vomiting and diarrhea. She'd be bruised, maybe limp, etc.

Geckos can also carry pinworms their whole lives and not be affected until times of stress and lower immunity. Is it possible after the fall you were overly cautious and handled her more than normal? The move to a new tank can also cause stress, spiking the worms.

Vomiting and diarrhea are both symptoms of parasites, that have already been confirmed. The dewormer can upset tummys, but once shes done her rounds she should perk up.

When I first got Ozy, I did the normal letting her settle in for 2 weeks. Then I got her out. She was TINY. She jumped off my hands from about 4 feet in the air and landed on the floor. She was just fine. She has also dived from my hands when I had her over her enclosure, landed on her back on the slate tiles and kind of squeaked. She was fine then also. So I really doubt a little fall like that had any effect on her. I'm with Katie on this one. Maybe you were worried so you handled her a lot more, and she got stressed. Also changing home is stressful for them. Just give her the meds. I would also not feed her a whole bunch. Maybe give her 1 or 2 mealworms, let those settle a bit, then see if she's hungry for more. Give her 1 more and let it settle, and so on. That way it's less likely to upset her tummy. Hope she gets better soon!

Thanks all. I got the medication into her on Sunday, and she seems to have perked up some but still hasn't eaten. I'm just leaving the mealworms in her bowl since I think all of the handling with the daily cage changing is stressing her out poor thing.
